Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter Bongos Ikwue delivers a moving and beautiful song about two children who couldn’t play together, because one was Muslim and the other Christian….a metaphor for sectarian strife in Nigeria and other places….Bongos recently called on African governments to ban organized religion as a key to African progress and unity…check the lovely tag at the end as a choir sings alternately “Amen” and “Amin”, the English and Arabic versions of the same word.

This song is loved by many Nigerians, bringing back the nostalgic feeling of the ’80’s series “Cock Crow At Dawn”. At this moment, it is part of the sound track of the beautiful musical film, Inalé. Listen to the song and be the judge of what it reminds you of.
